Portrait of the Blogger as a Young Man

If you click it, you should get the full sized picture. It is a picture of me at Oceano County beach near San Luis Obispo, California, taken a couple of years ago. A bunch of pilot friends and I flew down from Palo Alto in several planes. The airstrip is just off the beach!



I am holding the pieces of an airplane kite which disintegrated in midair. The flight home in our airplanes suffered no such mishaps.
