Cheney Lied, the Debate Is Tied!

Despite the fact that the context of Cheney's remark (oops, I mean slegehammer blow) was obviously focused on whether Cheney ever dealt with Edwards in the Senate, various Democratic partisans are trying to make hay out of the fact that Cheney had, in fact, met Edwards at occasions before the debate. Well, whatever. But this blogger makes a good point:

Plus, if being in the physical vicinity of someone means that you "met" them, then doesn't that mean that Kerry "met" Jane Fonda at anti-war rallies, something he vehemently denies?
