The Nature Of Torture
Something just occurred to me. Would I agree to be waterboarded if the result was that the left lost all political power in this country?
Oh, certainly. The point is I personally wouldn't undergo any kind of *real* torture to see the defeat of my political opponents (not being a political idolater and all), but waterboarding? Where do I sign up?

The obvious counter: there are some martyrs who would offer their lives, if it *only* made abortion illegal.
