Both Sides Try To Shirk Their Duty

The leftist thinks he can meet the God-given obligations of charity by voting for socialism, sparing him from having to get off his duff and help his neighbor. The rightist thinks he can meet the God-given obligations of evangelization and spreading the good news of God's love (and desire for our sanctification) by voting Republican, sparing him from having to get off his duff to actually evangelize and witness and take some social risks for the Lord.

Both are wrong. In this respect, God is a moderate. And also far too radical for most people to handle.
