It occurs to me that if someone refers to someone else as a "teabagger", then the appropriate response would be: "If you're going to call him a "teabagger", then is it okay if I refer to you as a c*cksucker? Because the two terms mean essentially the same thing."

Actually, the two terms do not mean essentially the same ... the "teabagger" is analogous to the suckee, not to the sucker.
BUT (as I've been pointing out for some time to Bob Parks), it seems to me that these people using the teabagger slur are inadvertantly likening themselves to cocksuckers. So, by all means, let's ask them the question.
