Civilization, in every generation, must be defended from barbarians.
The barbarians outside the gate, the barbarians inside the gate, and the barbarian in the mirror...

It's Scientific. If You're An Atheist You Must Be A Leftist.
Wonder if it will make the man from Germany start to think, noticing how the bile and hate comes at the same rate for political "untruth" as for "scientific untruth"?
Such has happened before.
Just goes to show why libs want THEM to shut up, and cons want THEM to keep talking!
I've long said that I'm an atheist, but don't endorse atheism. Simply put, religion (usually) is a social structure that reinforces good ideas. I don't believe it, but I think it's a force for good; so I don't go around trying to dissuade people.
Far too many people use "atheism" simply as a way to oppose whatever religion they were raised in. (I'm always amused when I see an "atheist" arguing against religion, but their arguments always seem to be against a verrrry particular brand of religious faith, rather than a broader "there is no God".
The moron is (kind of) right about this, actually. Even a broken clock is right twice a day and all that.
In my experience, atheism - I should actually say militant atheism - is actually nothing but a mask for a radical-left political agenda. It's the latter that's truly important to them, as PZ's hateful rants demonstrate on a daily basis.
Actually, the militant Left seized upon militant atheism early to support their political efforts and their attacks on any other source of perceived authority, including religion. In this regard, the Leftists are literally brothers in arms with other stone-age, pagan war cults (to borrow a phrase from Ann Barnhardt)like Islam.
