Militant atheists believe that our fates and actions are governed by the position and movement of atoms.
Not much of an improvement, I'd say.

But, at least the militant atheists are consistent in their atheism, unlike the muddled so-called atheists who imagine it's logically possible to both deny God and affirm selfhood.
