... because, being desirous of *never* being convinced of the reality of God – while still being (for the nonce) desirous of claiming the title of being rational beings – we have tendentiously redefined “evidence” so as to exclude-by-definition *all* the evidence that exists. Which we studiously ignored, anyway.
