So, the some of the fanboys of scientism want to apply a distinct name to one of the key emotive aspects of scientism? And they want to model their new word on "that abomination, 'spirituality'," and somehow replace the old word with the new word?
Tin ear, indeed.
I wonder whether they'll be open to adopting *my* years-ago coinage of 'scientiste' (coined on the model of Miss Piggy's 'Artiste') to denote themselves?
