My commercial pilot rating requires 5 solo hours of night flight, which includes 10 takeoffs and landings at a tower-controlled airport. So I took off from Palo Alto and did 10 laps over at San Jose International. First time I've piloted a plane at night without an instructor aboard! Here's What I Was Seeing At 9:35 Tonight
