How come the Dems -- who were once the champions of the "little people" and the rural folk -- now see the little people and rural folk as benighted?
Furthermore, the Dems through the NEA have been in charge of America's education for 50 years; yet they think Americans are stupid! Perhaps their "values clarification" educational system undermined their own strategy!
